Math and Computing Awards
Math Research Award
1st Place: $250
2nd Place: $150
3rd Place: $100
Note: One (1) award is given to each winning entry. Prizes will be split among group members.
The awards will be given to the top three math-related papers/posters submitted by students associated with the Faculty of Math & Computing. If a winning submission was made by a group, the award funds will be split among the individuals of the group.
Students will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Originality of the idea
- Quality of research design
- Interpretation of results
- Presentation of findings
- Clarity and quality of writing
